The
Emergency at IKD is working since the start of the institute. It is 24 hour
services. There are both urologist and nephrologists working here. We provide
free emergency drugs to all emergency patients.Supportive treatments
are given to patients until they are stabilized. Once this is achieved and
appropriate diagnosis has been made, the patients are sent to different
departments such as the urology and nephrology wards. Patients who do not need
to be sent to other departments are sent home and followed-up through our Out
Patient Clinics. we attend to more than 70-80 patients in one day. We have 10
beds with oxygen support points and monitors within the Emergency Room.
