PHARMACY

Details about PHARMACY.

The Department of Pharmacy was established in July 2007. Pharmacy administration refers to the effective management of pharmaceutical services, including responsibilities related to drug procurement, storage, dispensing, and ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards. Since its establishment in 2007, the Pharmacy Department has been functioning under the supervision of Ms. Rukhsana Qazi, whose leadership laid the foundation for organized and efficient pharmacy services. Over time, the pharmacy team has expanded with the addition of three qualified pharmacists assigned to different sub-units, strengthening service delivery across the institution. The Head of the Pharmacy Department plays a key role in supervising staff, implementing institutional policies, and ensuring the safe and rational use of medicines. Looking ahead, the Pharmacy Department plans to further enhance its services by establishing a Clinical Pharmacy Program and an Extemporaneous Preparation/Compounding Pharmacy, aimed at improving patient-centered care and therapeutic outcomes within the organization.
